Celebrate Worship Together
Calvary Christian Church is not a place for spectators only. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. We offer two Sunday morning Celebration worship venues at 9 & 10 AM.
And here is how you can Celebrate, Connect, Contribute and grow on the road to abundant life with our Calvary Church family throughout the week…!
Connecting Together Home Group
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, Calvary Christian Church has small bible studies held in member homes. The size of a Connecting Together life group is anywhere from six to twelve. At a time, designated by your group, you can participate in the small group study.
Children’s Church
Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own Children’s Church classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened, background checked and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction. The Children’s Church youth ministry at Calvary Christian Church is recognized for their working with children with disabilities.
Connecting Together Young Adults
Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships. And a whole lot more decisions. The Connecting Together young adult group of Calvary Christian Church is being formed to provide a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people.
Connecting Together Ladies Bible Study
Calvary Christian Church Women’s Groups gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction on Wednesday nights at 7PM and on Thursday morning at 10 AM with different lessons in each! This Connecting Together group offers times of Bible study, prayer (and, ocassionally of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing Connecting Together fellowship and discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.
Connecting Together Men’s Fellowship
Accountability among men is an act of integrity which is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. Our Connecting Together Men’s Fellowship meets in our community on Wednesday nights at 6 PM Contact Alan Potter for more information.
Couples Connection
Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack–internally and externally. Calvary Christian Church gives married couples the opportunity to join four-month long marriage classes ranging on topics from Marriage and Money, Getting Ready for Kids, Shepherding Children, Marriage and Sex.
Singles Connecting Together
Whether never married, divorced or widowed our Singles provides refreshment, ministry, times of valuable interaction and offers a place of encoragement for all types of singles. Meeting on first Monday at 7 PM contact Monica Bolling for more information!
Seniors Connecting Together
Once you get past sixty, the fun has just begin. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-60 group of Calvary Christian Church provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. A mentoring ministry gives older believers a chance to meet with and help younger believers grow in Christ.
